We are thrilled to announce that we’ve received a generous £25,000 unrestricted grant from The Barratt Foundation! This funding will be used to fund the salary of one of our dedicated Family Mentors, a key addition to our team, who plays a vital role in addressing the underlying causes of homelessness and supporting families in need.
Introducing the Family Mentors
With this grant, we’re excited to be able to continue to fund and support our Family Mentor team. These dedicated professionals provide invaluable guidance through support sessions, advocacy, and signposting. They help families navigate the complex journey towards securing and maintaining a safe, stable home.
The Resettlement Passport
Central to this initiative is the “Resettlement Passport”—a structured program tailored for individuals preparing to apply for their own tenancy or already living in one. Each unit of the passport covers essential areas of managing a home, including financial planning, household management, and accessing community resources. Our Family Mentors are instrumental in delivering these sessions, equipping families with the knowledge and skills they need to make informed decisions about their futures.
