Happy World Health Day! 
Did you know that health is a human right? At least 140 countries recognize this, yet many are not passing and implementing laws to ensure access to health services for all.
This year’s theme, ‘My health, my right’, aims to address this issue and champion everyone’s right to quality healthcare, housing, education, clean water, and more. Let’s work together to make sure that all people, everywhere, can enjoy a healthy life.

We are thrilled to announce that one of our amazing volunteers will be opening up her garden gates at Bankhead for the National Garden Scheme in May!

We hope you had a wonderful Easter Holiday! Our Children’s Team had a blast with our families during the break! We started our days off right with healthy egg breakfasts and got creative with decorating egg cups. The Easter Egg hunt was a big hit and we even got to visit Chester Zooo ! Our kids loved the Tigers and the bat cave was a favorite among families. 
None of this could have been possible without your ongoing support, and that of HAF2024 Funding!

Their hard work and dedication helped us prepare a property for a new family to move in.

Did you know, today is World Creativity and Innovation Day! Today’s purpose is to raise the awareness of the role of creativity and innovation in all aspects of human development, which is something we believe is so important! So…. Calling all creative volunteers!! 
Join us at Save the Family and share your creativity with the children living on our site. 
From singing and dancing to painting and crafts, there are so many ways to make a difference in these little ones’ lives.

A couple of weeks ago, we were thrilled to have Qwest join us for a corporate volunteering day! They generously brought donations from Harvey’s, Bagnalls, and Akzanobol, who provides painting and decorating materials. We are grateful for their support and can’t thank them enough for spending their day with us!
