After hours of pounding the streets in preparation, the big day arrived!

Lining up on Sunday with over 6000 other runners, were Save the Family’s very own Superheroes!

Save the Family could not exist without the tireless work of our volunteer fundraisers. In total over £3000 was raised! Every penny will go to support homeless families in our community.

Chester has definitely got talent!!

A huge ‘Thank You’ to the young ladies at The Queens School Chester for putting on an amazing concert on behalf of Save the Family on Saturday evening. It was a packed house. With something for everyone from Musical Theatre tunes to The Jacksons, the guests were not left disappointed!

Chester’s First Health and Beauty Expo!

What a day!! Over 500 people attended our first Health and Beauty Event at Chester Racecourse! The day kicked off with an amazing talk from BBC Breakfast’s Louise Minchin and continued throughout the day with seminars, demonstrations and tutorials focused on Health and Beauty. All this lead up to Save the Families first Young Make-Up Artist of the Year competition. The competition was won by 14 year old Mia Smith-Roberts! The competion was judged by Instagram sensations and influencers Alisha Heap and Jasmin Archer-Jones. The event was hosted entirely by Save the Family volunteer staff  with the help of Chester Racecourse Company’s Project 1000 volunteers and raised almost £3000. These funds will go to help homeless families through a really difficult period in life.

The Sensory Garden Opening

Wow, what a day!! After months of design, then many hours of hard work we are proud to say that on the 23rd of November 2018, we finally opened the Sensory Garden. Our dream would never have become a reality without funding and the hard-work of our Corporate Volunteers. They worked for many hours along side our ground staff to produce an amazing space for our residents, staff and volunteers to enjoy for many years to come.

Our http://www.Tesco.com/bagsofhelp plaque has finally arrived! Thank you to http://www.tesco.com for helping to make it happen.
